Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Nayantara Mumbai, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality handloom sarees. Due to the exclusive nature of our products and the craftsmanship involved, we adhere to a strict Returns & Exchanges policy. Our goal is to ensure that every customer receives products that meet our exacting standards. Please review our policy below to understand the conditions under which returns and exchanges may be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Incorrect Product Delivered: Returns and exchanges are only permissible if the product delivered does not match the item listed in the order confirmation.

Manufacturing Defect: Returns and exchanges are allowed if there is a genuine quality or manufacturing defect in the product.


Considering the specific nature of our products, we reserve the right to resolve any situation at our discretion. Every return or exchange request is considered on a case-by-case basis, and your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

Process for Returns & Exchanges

1. Notification: Customers must notify us of any issues within 48 hours of receiving the product. Please contact our Customer Care at returns@nayantara.com with your order number, date of transaction, delivery address, and an image of the incorrect or defective item.

2. Review and Approval: Upon receiving your request, our team will review the issue. If approved, we will authorize the return or exchange of the product.

3. Return Shipping: Approved returns must be sent back to us in their original, unused condition, with the original bill and tags intact, within 5 days of receiving the return authorization.


Note- No refunds will be given if the customer provides an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, if there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency, or if the package is refused by the recipient.

Important Considerations

No Returns or Exchanges for Minor Color Variations: Customers should note that our sarees are handwoven, which may result in minor colour variations. These subtle differences add to the charm and uniqueness of each saree, making every piece a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Plus, due to the differences in screen display and photography settings, minor colour variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or exchanges.

Pre-Purchase Verification: Customers are strongly advised to verify and review their orders, including colours, sizes, and quantities, before placing an order.

Refusal of Damaged Packages: If you receive a package that appears tampered with, damaged, or in an unsealed condition, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately at returns@nayantara.com.
